Psychologist | Rehab Counsellor - Rehabilitation Consultant - Brisbane

 

Strive Occupational Rehabilitation is well renowned as an industry leader when it comes to Early Intervention, complex case management and project based work.

 

The Occupational Rehabilitation industry has a number of different roles, however we are very different to other rehabilitation providers. We are looking for someone who wants to learn rehabilitation as it should be done. If you already know great... apply now.  As well as this we have developed a number of innovative programs that provide our customers with coaching, team development and building resilient teams. Yes, there is some counselling, and yes, there is some insurance work. But people refer to us to genuinely get some advice as to what can be done for the insured person, not to “tick the box”.

  • Have a strong focus on Early Intervention with our customers, including critical incident response, onsite support, team support services and training
  • Are an industry leader when it comes to providing mindfulness programs to workplaces
  • Are always looking for new, innovative ways to improve health outcomes for our customers and encourage creative freedom to develop your own projects
  • Will provide you with the opportunity to join existing exciting projects across Queensland, including working with customers in their workplace with a focus on mindfulness, resilience training, debriefing and team based supports.

  • Are flexible about hours and remuneration based on billable hours commitment and experience
  • Are Experienced and qualified Occupational Rehabilitation Providers (members of ARPA)

 

 

The Role:

 

  • Full-time with flexible working hours depending on customer needs
  • Case load is flexible and can include project opportunities, early intervention, team support, critical incident response as well as case management of client's with a broad range of biopsychosocial needs
  • Will involve group work as well as individual counselling around returning to work and job seeking
  • Coaching managers on how to identify and manage workers with Mental health issues
  • Will also assist to sharpen your client focused practice and provide up-skilling and education around issues such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and managing difficult relationships whilst supporting both the employer and the client
  • Ideally we are looking to recruit in our Brisbane office with the successful candidate willing to travel within South East QLD as required. However we also need people in FNQ and Gold Coast, so can negotiate accordingly

Rehabilitation Consultant - OT | PT| Toowoomba

  • Are always looking for new, innovative ways in health prevention for our customers and encourage creative freedom to develop your own projects
  • Will provide you with the opportunity to join existing projects across Queensland, working with customers in their workplace with a focus on up-skilling, training and debriefing.
  • Are industry leaders in complex case management
  • Have a culture based on support, fun, respect, health and well being, professional and personal development 
  • Are flexible about hours and remuneration based on billable hours commitment and experience

The Role:

 

 

  • Working under the experience of Senior OT, Jason Darbyshire in Toowoomba
  • Full-time with flexible working hours depending on customer needs
  • Case load is flexible and can include project opportunities, early intervention, critical incident response as well as case management of client's with a broad range of physical and psychosocial needs
  • Case load will include a mix of providing support to assist clients to return to their same workplace and also assisting clients to find new employment options
  • Case load with include a mix of workers compensation cases, state government work and functional assessments 
  • Travel will be across the greater Toowoomba region and there will be access to a fleet vehicle
